steel air hose reel is the most rugged single hose, general
purpose hose reel of its size in the industry. We created it with
the most demanding reeling applications in mind, hand pull or
machine mounted. Oversized bearings and a heavy duty, one piece main
shaft (also available in stainless steel) give the hose-master
superior mechanical strength. The reliable ratchet and dog allows
quick and easy changeover from window shade-type action to
continuous tension. Handles up to 70 ft. of 3/8" I.D. hose. Maximum
hose diameter is 1/2" I.D. Reel is rated at 300 psi per standard
hose and hose fittings. steel air hose reel itself is capable
of higher pressures with proper hardware.
Typically applied to the most demanding industrial application. May
be used for air or liquid. Easily handles hose up to 2" (51mm).
Normally machine mounted, it may also be used in hand pull
applications. Constructed of heavy gauge steel with industrial grade
fittings, steel air hose reel is rated at 300 psi (20.7 bar)
per standard hose and hose fittings. Reels designed for pressures up
to 2000 psi (137.9 bar) are also available.
Rugged, dependable and trouble free, these reels are designed for
general shop use. They can be mounted wherever most convenient; on
carts, walls, poles, or ceilings. A slight tug on the hoses releases
the ratchet and the hoses are automatically retrieved onto the reel
where they are out of the way, off the floor, and safe from
accidental damage. Models available for 60' or 100' long hoses.
Spring Operated steel air hose reel for pressures up to 2000
PSI. New seal design and kink-free hose entrance. Available in
models with nine or 17 foot hose capacities for left or right hand
installation. Extra rugged and compact for hydraulic lift truck
service. All steel construction.
Sealed motor spring with built in de-clutching arbor. Balanced to
give a nearly constant load when extending hose. Hose is held out at
any working length tension free, by non-gravity and non-sparking
type locking pawl. A slight tug of the hose releases for automatic
rewind. Cast aluminum hose arm guides are adjustable to all working
positions. Ceiling, wall or floor. Quiet, safe, friction free nylon
rollers mean less wear to hose lengths.
Swivel joints have dual housings on single shaft. Independent
housings prevent possible mixture of gases. Swivel is easily removed
as one part. Reel spools are heavy smooth beaded steel to provide
maximum protection for hose chafing. Heavy self-lubricating main
bearing pressed into cast aluminum axle hub. All materials are
protected against rust by heavy powder coating, cadmium plate or
other conversion coatings.
The steel air hose reel is completely self-contained. Its
single axle design with structural steel chassis and heavy gauge
steel outer body, is completely enclosed to keep out the weather,
and one key will secure all doors and panels from theft and
unauthorized use. The trailer, supplied with all running lights,
rides along on sturdy four-ply tires mounted with heavy duty leaf
springs. This trailer is available fully equipped for leak location
and line washing, and can be painted to match your steel
air hose reel colors.
